A Wisconsin man was seriously injured in a one vehicle accident near Scales Mound. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Department says the accident happened around 4:30 yesterday afternoon on North Culvert Road.
Authorities say an SUV driven by 22-year old Andrew Gray of Hartford, Wisconsin was going to fast around a curve and lost control, drove into a field before crashing through a fence and then into a tree.
Gray had to be airlifted to Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford. The accident remains under investigation.
