- The Dubuque County Invitational at Dalzell Field yesterday evening. In the boys meet Western Dubuque won the title by one point over Senior 160 to159. Hempstead was 3rd 152, Wahlert 4th with 58 then Cascade with 30 followed by Beckman Catholic with 19
- In the girls meet: Hempstead won the title with 143, Wahlert was 2nd with 138, Western Dubuque 3rd with 113, Senior 4th with 102, Cascade next with 62, followed by Beckman Catholic with 22
