The Iowa State Patrol has identified the man killed in a crash Friday afternoon in Delaware County near Ryan.
The Patrol says 39-year-old Kyle Kelchen of Manchester died in the accident at the intersection of 190th Ave and 310th Street.
Authorities say Kelchen was driving a UTV vehicle southbound on 190th Ave when he failed to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle was then hit by a pick-up truck traveling eastbound on 310th Street driven by 67-year old Gerald Beitz of Monticello. Both vehicles came to rest in a ditch. Beitz and his wife 65-year old Susan Beitz were injured, but didn’t require hospitalization.
