A Dubuque man has died after being hit by a vehicle just before midnight Tuesday night.
Dubuque Police say it happened in the 31-hundred block of Dodge Street, between Cedar Cross Road and University Avenue.
Police identified the pedestrian as 47-year-old David Miller. Investigators say Miller walked into the roadway and was hit by an eastbound vehicle driven by 53-year old Charles Calkins of East Dubuque.
The accident is still under investigation; however police say no charges are pending against Calkins.
