Dubuque Police said pedestrian was seriously injured when a driver intentionally drove over his foot in Dubuque. According to the Telegraph Herald, 37 year old Brittney A. Bisdorf of 3247 Getty Terrace, was arrested just after 5:30 pm Sunday in the area of East 24th and Washington streets on charges of willful injury causing serious injury and domestic assault while using a weapon. Court documents say that Bisdorf drove over the foot of 44 year old Christopher T. Lewis causing a compound fracture of his right leg and ankle. Documents say “Lewis was bleeding profusely from the wound”. Bisdorf told authorities she was driving west on East 24th Street in an attempt to talk to Lewis and retrieve personal items from him. She located Lewis at the corner of Washington and East 24th and turned her vehicle into the oncoming lane of traffic on Washington and stopped to speak with Lewis. Documents state as Lewis stepped off the curb onto Washington street, Bisdorf drove over his foot causing the injury.
