The Dubuque County Board of Supervisors recently approved reducing the speed limit on a stretch of Old Highway Road. The speed limit for the eastbound segment through the town of Centralia starting just east of Cox Springs Road will decrease from 35 mph to 25 mph. The westbound speed limit starting just east of Sundown Road will also be decreased from 35 to 25 mph. The speed limit change has been requested by nearby residents for years.
