Dubuque And Jackson County Added To Disaster Declaration For Tuesday’s Storm Damage

Yesterday Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds expanded the list of county’s available for disaster assistance in the aftermath of Tuesday’s destructive storms.

Dubuque and Jackson are now among 17 more counties being allowed state resources to be utilized for disaster relief aid bringing the total to 32 eligible counties.

It also opens up relief grants of up to $5,000 for households earning up to 200% of the poverty level. Potential applicants have 45 days from the date of the proclamation to submit a claim.
