A Wisconsin man who led Dubuque police on a high speed chase not once, but twice has been sentenced to time behind bars.
29-year old Jaquese Murphy was recently sentenced in Dubuque County District Court to serve five years in prison. The sentence was part of a plea deal; another charge against Murphy was dropped.
The police pursuits took place on February 28th in an around the downtown area and ended following the second chase when a state trooper was able to pull over Murphy and arrest him.
