During a sentencing hearing this week, the man convicted of killing a Dubuque woman 3 years ago has been sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
In May, 23-year old Rommel Enoch was found guilty of first degree murder in the death of Kylie Duster who was found dead in her apartment on July 28th, 2021.
Under Iowa code, a first-degree murder conviction comes with a mandatory life prison sentence and $150,000 in restitution to be paid to the victim’s family. If he chooses to do so, Enoch has up to 30 days to file an appeal.
