A Shullsburg man was injured in when the vehicle he was driving went off the road late Friday night.
The Layfayette County Sheriff says the wreck happened shortly before midnight on County Highway ‘I’ in New Diggings. Authorities say the vehicle driven by 22-year old Juan Hernandez missed the curve, went into the ditch and hit a utility pole before stopping in a field.
Hernandez was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He is being charged with failure to maintain Control, no insurance, and no driver’s license.
