Maquoketa Shooting Leaves Two Wounded

Two men have been seriously wounded in a shooting incident in Maquoketa.

According to Maquoketa Police, around 8 Sunday night they were called to the 400 block of North Otto Street.  When officers arrived they say they found the two men whose names haven’t been released suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Both were taken to Jackson County Regional Medical Center and are reported to be in stable, but serious condition.

No other information is being released at this time. The incident is being investigated by Maquoketa Police and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.
