A Dubuque man suffered potential injuries in a two vehicle crash in downtown Dubuque. Dubuque Police say Thursday afternoon around 4:15 they were called to the accident at the intersection of 17th and White Streets.
Police say one vehicle driven by 64-year old Ryan Heckert of Dickeyville ran through a stop light and collided with the other vehicle driven by 26-year old Alontae Murray. After the two vehicles collided, Murray’s swerved to avoid hitting a parked vehicle and hit a fence. Authorities say Murray complained of having pain, but wasn’t taken the hospital. Heckert was charged with failure to respond to a steady red light.
