Yesterday 2nd District Representative Ashley Hinson announced she will not run for governor in 2026. Hinson made the announcement in a social media post saying she wanted to focus on her role in Washington.
Earlier this month, Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds surprised some by announcing she would not be seeking another term.
