The Dubuque County Sheriff has released the names of those involved in a car-motorcycle accident in Dyersville late Wednesday night.
Authorities say 36-year old Jesse Drafahl of Oelwein was the driver of a car that collided with a motorcycle being operated by 67-year old Michael Wieland of Alburnett.
Wieland was transported to a local hospital and later airlifted to the University of Iowa Hospitals with life threatening injuries. Drafahl suffered minor injuries in the crash. The accident is still under investigation.
