The recent American Heart Association Dubuque Area Heart Walk and Thiesen’s Life is Why Campaign were a huge success. Both efforts brought in 190-thousand dollars for research, expand lifesaving training and deliver critical resources to communities in need.
The event on Saturday, May 3rd at the Dubuque Arboretum saw around 1000 walkers participate in the event.
The Heart Walk included support from Thiesen’s. Throughout the month of April Thiesen’s gave customers the opportunity to round up their in-store purchases at checkout with the proceeds going to support the fight against cardiovascular disease.
