Flight number two for Honor Flight of Dubuque and the Tri-States will be in Washington D.C today after departing from the Dubuque Regional Airport this morning.
After spending the day yesterday touring the war memorials in the nation’s capital, veterans on Honor Flight 1 touched down late last night at the airport, and were welcomed back during a ceremony at the Grand River Center.
Honor Flight 2 is scheduled to return around 10 o’clock and those deserving vets will be welcomed at the Grand River Center.
