A boat was destroyed by fire at a Dubuque Marina. Yesterday morning around 11, Dubuque Firefighters were called to American Marine near the Dubuque Yacht Basin on the report of a boat that was docked in flames.
Fire crews were able to contain the fire to the original vessel and extinguished it within 15 minutes of the first unit’s arrival.
One other vessel sustained significant damage, minor damage was reported to adjacent vessels and to the covered marina.
There were no injuries.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
