The Northeast Iowa Community College Board of Trustees will appoint Jason Norton to serve District 7. Norton, formerly senior vice president of marketing and business development at a local credit union replaces Trustee Dan White who resigned from the Board of Trustees in April, due to moving outside of the district.
The Board of Trustees filled the vacancy by appointment; per the Iowa Code, the electors of District 7 have the right to file a petition requiring that the vacancy be filled by special election.
Norton’s term will expire in November.
