Volunteers are needed to assist in clean-up of the Dubuque County Watershed next weekend at several locations.
The Dubuque County Watershed Clean-up will on Saturday, June 9th at several locations with the goal of creating a healthier and safer watershed.
The efforts will be focused on public land along the creeks and rivers in the county, but pick-up of litter anywhere in the county helps keep the rivers clean.
There will be limited supplies of gloves, bags, trash grabbers, and vests available.
The watershed clean is being organized by the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, Dubuque County Conservation, and the Dubuque Metropolitan Solid Waste Agency.
