A Muscoda man has died after he ran his motorcycle into the rear of a tractor pulling a planter. The Grant County Sheriff says the crash happened Tuesday night around 9 o’clock on Hwy 133 near Taylor Road, in Muscoda.
Authorities say 37-year old Matthew Griffith was pronounced dead when authorities arrived. The operator of the tractor 52-year old Brian Perkins of Richland Center was not injured. The Sheriff’s Department says the investigation shows Griffith was not wearing a helmet and it appears speed was a contributing factor to the crash.
