A Grant County man has been sentenced to prison time for leading law enforcement on a pursuit while operating a tractor pulling a disc plow.
The Telegraph Herald reports during a recent jury trial, 48-year old Chad Klein of Cassville was found guilty of resisting/failing to stop and resisting or obstructing an officer and was sentenced to 9 months behind bars.
The incident happened last June when Grant County deputies tried to get Klein to stop his tractor and the pursuit continued for five miles before ending at a farm in Glen Haven Township. Authorities say Klein then attempted to run away before his arrest.
