The Dubuque Racing Association has announced the recipients of the 2025 Mission Grant awards. Dubuque and Jackson County Habitat for Humanity and the Butler Children’s Garden Foundation Incorporated have been selected to receive $50-thousand dollars each in funding.
The Habitat for Humanity grant award will help support the Wood Street Project in Dubuque which will see up to fourteen single-family homes in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood.
The Butler Children’s Garden grant award will support work at the Wanderwood Gardens near the Dubuque Arboretum and Botanical Gardens and provide essential equipment purchases for garden and forest maintenance, completion of phase two of the organization’s website, and the launch of a seasonal internship program.
