The Dubuque Museum of Art is counting down their final days in their current home inside the Woodward Fine Arts Center at 701 Locust Street.
This Saturday, all are welcome to a community day and closing celebration with free admission and free family artmaking. Those attending are invited to participate in an artmaking project transforming the lobby into a canvas of shared community expression. It will also be the last chance to view current exhibits by three area artist Gerit Grimm, Stina Joy Henslee, and Jenni Brant.
Sunday, June 8th will be Members Day, a celebration to thanks its members.
During construction of its new museum and arts campus, the Dubuque Museum of Art will open October 11th in its temporary new home, the Dupaco Voices Building in the Historic Millwork District.
