A Dubuque woman was injured in a two vehicle accident in the downtown area.
Dubuque Police say the crash happened Thursday afternoon around 2:15 at the intersections of Main Street and Jones Street. Authorities 52-year old William Lyons of Dubuque put his car in reverse and struck a vehicle driven by 22-year old Madison Sampson- Brown who was attempting to make a right turn onto Jones Street. Sampson-Brown complained of pain, but refused medical assistance at the time.
Lyons was cited with unsafe backing on a highway.
