Dubuque Woman Killed In Downtown Hit And Run

A Dubuque woman was killed in a hit and run collision in the downtown area.

Dubuque Police say it happened yesterday evening shortly after 6:30 at the intersection of Locust Street and Loras Boulevard. Police say 38-year old Kalissa Reeder crossed Locust Street against the red light and was hit by the vehicle driven by 26-year old Bailey Foht of Dubuque.

Reeder was taken by ambulance to MercyOne Dubuque Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.  Foht was located by police during the early morning hours today at the Days Inn and was arrested.Bailey Foht

Foht is in the Dubuque County Jail on $500-thousand dollars bond charged with leaving the scene of an accident causing death and driving while barred.
