A Dubuque man has been sentenced for leading police on a high speed chase around downtown Dubuque.
54-year old Murrell Griffin will be spending two years in prison after pleading guilty to eluding and driving while barred.
The charges were filed against Griffin following the incident on March 20th when Griffin took off during a traffic stop. The chase ended when Griffin reportedly got out of the vehicle and ran off, he was later tracked down and arrested.
