A Dubuque man has been sentenced to a long federal prison term for his role in a child exploitation case.
Yesterday in U.S. District Court in Cedar Rapids, 41-year old John Dixon was given a sentence of 42-years behind bars.
Dixon previously pled guilty to sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of child pornography occurring between August 2023 and May 2024.
Dixon and 35-year old Justin Paisley of Dubuque were arrested by Dubuque Police last June and charged. Last month, Paisley was sentenced to 45 years in federal prison.
