The road to the state tournament for Class 3A and 4A Iowa High School baseball teams has been announced.
Class 3A: Top ranked Wahlert Catholic is the top seed in Substate 4 and will play host to Clinton on July 11th. The winner meets the winner of the Independence-West Delaware first round game on July 14th. The other side of the bracket includes Western Dubuque who will host a first round game against Center Point-Urbana with the winner meeting either number two seed Decorah or Maquoketa. The Substate Final will be July 16th.
Class 4A Substate 8: Hempstead will host Senior for a third time this season as they meet in the first round on July 11th. The other match-ups in the opening round include top seed Pleasant Valley facing Davenport West and Bettendorf meeting Davenport Assumption.
