A northwest Illinois woman was injured in a weekend motorcycle crash near Lancaster.
The Grant County Sherriff’s Office says the accident happened Saturday afternoon around one o’clock near the 7000 block of Airport Road.
Authorities say the cycle operated by 64-year old John Imel of Polo, Illinois lost control rounding a sharp curve due to heavy rain falling at the time and also limited visibility. Imel wasn’t injured, however his wife 64-year old Melinda Imel suffered non-life threatening injuries and was taken to Grant County Regional Health Center.
