A bicyclist had to be taken to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle in downtown Dubuque.
Dubuque Police say the accident happened Tuesday morning around 11:30 near the intersection of 16th Street and Central Avenue. Authorities say the vehicle driven by 45-year old Donald Knospe of Dubuque pulled away from the stop sign turning left and ran into the bike being ridden by 63-year old Anthony Peacock of Dubuque. Peacock was taken by ambulance to Finley Hospital for treatment.
Knospe was cited with failure to yield upon making a left turn.
