The Port of Dubuque Marina is getting ready to host a Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday evening August 9th and are looking for boat owners who would like to participate.
The theme for this year’s Boat Parade is Retro Rewind and so those participating in the parade are encouraged to decorate their vessel in 70’s 80’s or 90s’ themed decor.
Entry deadline for boaters is this Monday July 28. There is a 50 dollar entry fee, but includes several perks along with a chance to win prizes.
The parade begins at 5 in the evening at the Port of Dubuque Marina and the public is invited to attend for free with a variety of family-friendly activities and music through 11 o’clock.
