UNI head men’s basketball coach Ben Jacobson has signed a contract extension, keeping him Cedar Falls for the next five years.
Jacobson, the winningest coach in UNI basketball history, is entering his 20th season at the helm of the Panthers. His 374 victories rank second all-time among Missouri Valley Conference head coaches.
Jacobson has been named MVC Coach of the Year five times, most recently in 2022
Jacobson’s Panthers have won four MVC regular season championships and four conference tournament championships.
