A Wisconsin man has been sentenced to jail time on a hate crime charge for an incident last August.
23-year old Christopher Drapeau recently found guilty by a Grant County jury to charges that included battery, and disorderly conduct with a hate-crime modifier was sentenced to serve three months in jail and two years of probation
Drapeau was arrested after he and his brother 20-year old Anthony Drapeau assaulted a black man at a party in Jamestown Township and used racial slurs and other derogatory language during the attack.
Anthony Drapeau previously entered a no-contest plea to two counts of disorderly conduct and was sentenced to one year of probation.
