Blood Pressure Monitoring Kits Available At Some SW Wisconsin Libraries

SW Health Blood Pressure

A new community health initiative is helping make it easier for southwest Wisconsin residents to take charge of their heart health.

Southwest Health says they are making Blood Pressure Monitoring Kits available for checkout at several local libraries.  Each kit includes a digital blood pressure monitor and cuff along with instructions. Educational materials on how to manage high blood pressure along with a Blood Pressure Diary are also included.

The kits are available at libraries in Platteville, Belmont, Cuba City, Dickeyville, Gratiot, Hazel Green, Lancaster, Potosi, and Shullsburg.

Southwest Health says offering the kits makes preventive care more accessible, especially for those who may not have a home monitor or who only need one temporarily.
