Eastern Iowa and Southern Wisconsin received heavy rainfall from storms on Sunday causing flash flooding.
The National Weather Service reports the Dubuque Regional Airport recorded a total of 4.87 breaking its daily precipitation record of 3.36” back in 1911.
In Grant County, up to 6 inches of rain caused numerous homes and cabins to be flooded in the Bagley area.
7 to up to 14 inches of rain around the Milwaukee area forced officials to cancel the final day of the Wisconsin State Fair.
