A northwest Illinois woman and former school paraprofessional who pled guilty to having a sexual relationship with a 17-year old student has been sentenced.
43-year old Alycia Deckert of Scales Mound must serve a 6-month jail sentence to be followed by 4 years of probation.
Deckert was arrested by Jo Daviess County authorities in March 2024 on charges of Criminal Sexual Assault and Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse.
