The Jo Daviess County Sheriff is investigating what they say was the hit and run death of a Wisconsin woman. Authorities say yesterday morning around 11 they were called to Route 78 North, just northwest of Warren on the report of a body found in the ditch.
The woman identified as 37-year-old Nicole Burke was reportedly struck by an unknown vehicle while walking along the highway. The Sheriff says anyone who may have information is asked to contact the Jo Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
