Weekend mass for thousands of Catholics across the Archdiocese of Dubuque will undergo some changes soon.
Archbishop Thomas Zinkula is announcing a plan for parishes to merge to form pastorates. Zinkula emphasized the models are not decisions, but rather, starting points, and may change based on feedback.
Information and listening sessions for the proposed pastorate models will be announced. Parishes will enter recommendations in November. New pastorates and priest assignments are expected next year.
