The Jo Daviess County Sheriff is still seeking the public’s assistance in solving the hit and run death of Wisconsin woman last week.
The body of 37-year old Nicole Burke of South Wayne was found Friday morning along Route 78 just northwest of Warren. Authorities say Burke may have been hit anytime last Thursday night into Friday morning.
The Sheriff says the vehicle they are looking for will have front and or passenger side damage, also possible damage to the headlight or side mirror.
