One person was hospitalized following a two vehicle collision near Galena. The Jo Daviess County Sheriff says it happened shortly after 3 yesterday afternoon on Highway 20 at the intersection with Jupiter Drive.
Authorities say one of the vehicles driven by 73-year old Marianne Hillard of Galena was stopped waiting to turn left and the other vehicle driven by 72-year old John Baertschi ran into the rear of the other vehicle. Baertschi was taken by ambulance to Midwest Medical Center in Galena.
