The Dubuque Fire Department battled a house fire yesterday.
Shortly after 6 yesterday morning fire crews were called to 1695 North Algona Street. When crews arrived they found the back deck of the home in flames and were able to put it out quickly.
The deck was considered a total loss and some of siding on the home was melted. There were no injuries. The cause of the fire wasn’t announced.
