Oven Baked Chili Dog Casserole
8 Hot Dogs
8 Hot Dog buns
2 cups chili
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Topping ideas:
Diced onions
Diced tomatoes
Crumbled bacon
Diced or Sliced jalapeno’s
Chopped pickles
Preheat oven to 350-degrees F. Coat a 9 x 13” baking dishes with cooking spray. Arrange 8 hot dog buns in the pan, cut side up. Add a hot dog inside each bun, and then top with ¼ cup chili, trying not to let the chili run under the bun (or the bun will get soggy). Sprinkle cheese over the top of the casserole.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the hot dogs are heated through and the cheese is melted.
Once done, add any toppings you like, and serve.
