A Dubuque man is being accused of murder in a cold case in Colorado.
Yesterday Dubuque police arrested 55-year-old Robert McClain who was wanted by police in Thornton, Colorado for the murder of a woman there 22-years ago.
Colorado authorities say in October 2003 McClain stabbed the mother of three to death and she was found in a field.
McClain is waiting in the Dubuque County Jail to be sent to Colorado to face the charges there.
Authorities say more details about the case against McClain will be released later.
