A rural Platteville man was injured in a motorcycle accident. The Grant County Sheriff says the crash happened Monday evening around 6:45 on County Highway ‘D’ just north of Platteville.
Authorities say the cycle operated by 69-year old Christopher Bartels lost control while turning onto another road and slid onto its side.
Bartels was taken by helicopter ambulance to U-W Hospitals in Madison.
He was cited for OWI and failure to maintain control.
