The attempted murder trial for two Dubuque County men is underway in Dubuque County District Court.
23-year old Gabriel Dominguez of Sherrill and 23-year old Scott Wessels of Dubuque are accused in the stabbing of Loras College student Hunter Guyon last October in downtown Dubuque.
Authorities say Dominguez stabbed Guyon while Wessels was driving the vehicle Dominguez got out of before the stabbing.
Guyon suffered serious stab wounds to the abdomen area in the attack.
