The largest gift in school history has been received by Emmaus University in Dubuque.
Emmaus says it received the 1.5 million dollars from a longtime supporter of the schools mission who left the gift following his death.
Emmaus says the donation will enhance the university’s ability to support its students financially, including through the $6,000 Founder’s Grant that each Emmaus undergraduate student receives.
