A Dubuque man faces participation in a riot charges for the second time this year.
Dubuque Police say 20-year old Edwin Ventura-Cruz was arrested this week and is accused of being involved in the assault of a man. Authorities say Cruz and two other men assaulted the man Wednesday night in the area of 22nd and Prince Streets. Cruz also reportedly threatened the man with a gun. Police are still looking for the other two men.
Cruz was also charged in connection with a series of fights around Comiskey Park in June and has a Plea Hearing on that charge next month.
