Honor Flight of Dubuque and the Tri-State is announcing their next flights taking veterans to Washington D.C. The first will be Monday May 11th and the second the next day Tuesday, May 12th both departing from the Dubuque Regional Airport.
Veterans fly at no cost to them, however it costs approximately $700 dollars to send each vet on the once in a life time tour so Honor Flight relies on donations from the public. Volunteer guardians who travel with the veterans are asked to make a 500 dollar contribution to cover a portion of their expenses.
