Dubuque Police have charged a man with firing off a handgun during a downtown disturbance last weekend.
Early Sunday morning police arrested 25-year old Laquan Edwards for his role in the incident during the early morning hours of September 28th in the 14-hundred block of Central Avenue.
Police say traffic camera footage helped identify Edward as the man firing off the gun and a 9 millimeter shell casing was found near the area. Police say the investigation continues and more charges are likely.
