An arraignment date has been set for the Maquoketa woman charged with vehicular homicide in the death of a truck driver in August near Dubuque.
27-year old Kaylynn Knight is scheduled to enter a plea to the charges on October 20th in Dubuque County District Court.
Knight was arrested late last month after an investigation that authorities say determined she was playing a game on her phone when she struck the trucker along Highway 61 just south of Dubuque while he was standing outside the truck cab checking the load on the trailer.
